Marie Woodward has worked in the education sector for over 25 years as an Early Years Practitioner, work-based Assessor, Manager and an Early Years Quality Support Consultant for her local authority. During this time she has developed and delivered a range of training and e-learning packages for schools, early years settings and neighbouring local authorities.

Marie is committed to ongoing training and CPD. She graduated with 2:1 BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies degree at Manchester Metropolitan University, qualified as an assessor and adult teacher, gained a diploma in digital media marketing and more recently completed a Chartered Management Institute Level 5 Operations Management qualification.

Marie joined Pier Training as an Operations and Commercial Manager to support the development of the business.

Leading and managing a team of tutors is a priority to her role ensuring she drives quality and performance to benefit all learners.

Living close to Britain’s smallest mainland Area of Outstanding Beauty has made Marie a lover of the outdoors. She enjoys forest walks and mountain biking in her spare time.
